The Activate company is a SAAS equipment management solution for the Construction Equipment Industry. The software is focused on co-equipment management between the dealer and fleet owner. Its workflows enhance existing processes at the dealer level and fleet owner level creating a connected communication workflow for service events. There are many parallels to management's prior investment in SmartEquip, which resulted in a ~8x return. The Legacy team will play a very active role in the company’s growth and from the board level. Legacy closed on its initial investment in December 2022.
Activate was acquired by Sandhills Global in September of 2025.
